Our events range from the switching on of our christmas lights to our annual summer Carnival.
Christmas Lights Switch On
Once again Wellington Town Council has arranged a whole evening of free entertainment for all the family, to celebrate the switching on of the Christmas lights in Wellington Town Centre. The Mayor of Wellington, Peter Critchard, would be honoured if you would join him in the festivities on Friday 28th December, at Wellington High Street from 6pm to 8pm. The evening will include carols from Beech Grove Primary School choir and Wellington Silver Band, face painting, a magic show and balloon modelling, and roundabout rides. This fun filled evening will be compared by Kevin Stratton and will be ended when two St Johns Primary School students turn on the Christmas lights.
