The Town Council funds a part-time community warden. They are available to complement a range of services the town already receives from the District and County Councils, such as street cleaning, grass cutting, footpath maintenance.
If residents raise concerns with Councillors, they can ask the Town Clerk to deploy the Community Warden to help. The Warden is employed by the District Council’s environmental services partner ID Verde but can be identified by the Town Council name on their workwear.
The Warden works 23 hours each week which are dedicated to and paid for by the Town Council.
If you see an issue with which the Community Warden might be able to help, please contact one of your Town Councillors or email [email protected].
