With the resignation of Cllr Marcus Barr, a Casual Vacancy has arisen in the South Ward of Wellington.
Unless ten electors for the South Ward give notice in writing by 26th September 2025 to the Returning Officer at Somerset Council requesting that an election be held, a new Councillor will be co-opted at a meeting held on 3rd November 2025.

WELLINGTON TOWN COUNCIL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Casual Vacancy has occurred for the office of Councillor in the Wellington South Ward of Wellington Town Council.
