Grass Cutting and Weed Control

Somerset Council is responsible for these services.

There is a programme of six cuts per year of roadside verges and green spaces, starting in early March. The Town Council then pays for two extra cuts to top up the service as required.

Somerset Council also carries out two rounds of weedkilling annually, and again the Town Council pays for an additional treatment if it is felt necessary.
