First of all thank you for letting us know your views about the Green Corridor – this will be really useful in shaping our thinking about how we move forward.
We have another favour to ask. Working in partnership with the Community Council for Somerset we are undertaking probably the most ambitious survey of the community that we have ever done. We want your views on a range of issues affecting your life in the town including how easy, or not, it is for you to access services, the impact of the cost of living crisis, your health and wellbeing, access to community facilities and services and climate change. We are also interested to hear from you about what you would like to see in the Community Hall that is planned for Cades Farm.
The feedback we get will help shape the Town Council’s plans for the coming years and potentially support us in accessing funding to make changes in the town so we would be extremely grateful if as many people as possible completed the survey. It shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes to do so. The more people that complete it the more reliable the information will be.

You can also pick up a paper copy from the Town Council offices at 28 Fore Street or the Library and there will be QR codes dotted around the town which will take you to the survey.
The consultation will close at the end of March and we’ll publish the results in July.
